Perched atop a steep embankment, the Preston Lake House is a contemporary expression located in a natural setting. The design of the home was highly driven by views and natural light which is evident via the home’s soaring ceilings and large expanses of glazing maximizes view of both the sky and lake; also allowing an abundance of natural light to enter the home at all levels. The tiered decking is also an important design feature as exterior spaces read as extensions of the interior - blurring the line between in and out, enhancing the connection with the natural surroundings.
