Approach
Our passion is creating structures that function in harmony with their contextual fabric and with the people who will inhabit them. That's why it's so important to us to start each project by listening carefully to our clients, and engaging them in a dialogue to uncover what they want and need from the building. We are especially sensitive to any budgetary or other constraints within we must operate. Instead of imposing our personal aesthetic preferences onto the concept development, we let the project's parameters - the purpose, the budget, the site, the regulatory context, the sustainability goals - guide us to a unique architectural solution that is both elegant and intelligent. We will then lead the planning design and construction phases to translate the building concept into a tangible reality. Our approach is highly collaborative, creating synergies with our principals, our staff and our network of engineers and specialists. All of our clients receive personal attention from the firm's partners, who oversee each project through to completion.

History
In 1988, David Climans, Bob Green and Carson Liang merged their distinct and complementary architectural talents to create a firm capable of handling the largest and most ambitious of projects, while providing each client with the personalized service of a boutique shop. Their work over the years has included a wide range of building types, including casinos, hotels, racetracks, recreational facilities, retail and commercial complexes, corporate interiors, condominiums, affordable housing and private residences. Today, Climans Green Liang and their team are especially sought after for their depth of expertise in the areas of gaming, retail and multi-unit residential complexes. The firm's extensive work in these areas has afforded unique insights into all facets of the architectural process, including site selection and utilization, master planning, design, zoning and regulatory approvals, systems engineering and consumer marketing strategies. Sustainability
As architects, we are driven by the desire to create structures that will serve their inhabitants today and for generations to follow. Taking an environmentally conscious approach to the design and construction phases is the logical outcome of this forward-looking vision. From private residences to large commercial projects, we endeavour to create buildings that are healthy, comfortable and energy efficient without compromising other strategic priorities. We accomplish this by making thoughtful design choices that will maximize the contextual energy-conserving aspects of a structure, such as how the building is situated on the site, smart placement and sizing of windows and skylights, and creative use of overhangs. We then select environmentally sensitive building materials and integrate energy-efficient products and technologies wherever possible. We also collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers, landscape architects and other specialists who contribute their insights toward creating a sustainable building. The result is increased operational efficiencies and a lowered carbon footprint throughout the life of the structure.
