Located an hour north of Toronto, Georgian Downs is one of Ontario’s premier Standardbred racetracks. The facility provides access to horse betting and a gaming floor with 1000 slot machines. The grandstand provides a volumetric space for patrons to view races. The building was designed to be sympathetic to its rural surroundings – utilizing architectural forms that are instantly recognizable as part of the region as well as a contemporary colour palette to create an instantly recognizable building from a major nearby artery: Highway 400.
